This is a charity event being organised by us with the help from a few of the guys behind the fundraising for this little girl. They have requested we run a Cruise Control for them so we're on the move to Kilyleagh.

Well on 03/06/2008 NIC got her 1,500,000 page view!!

A great day for the site, and also quite fitting as it is also the 3rd anniversary of it moving to the current host.  1000s of hours have went into this site, customising the code to bring what you see before you.

However unfortunately there is only so much can be done with the site and I feel it may have reached its limit for expansion, and customisation!

And like so many car owners and cruisers know, when you can do nothing more, it is time to do something else!  Hence Version 4!

I have been toying with the idea of V4 for quite some time now, and feel it is quite an appropiate time to start!  But big probs are ahead! lol!  Like the forums and moving them, and members, the same problem exists there.  However my main problem is the Gallereis and the thousands of photos that have documented the cruise scene in NI and ROI for the past 6 years!  This is the main obstacle and if it can not be resolved, well V4 will be put on hold again.

A more mature site is planned, some of the little games and more dated aspects of the site will have to go, the galleries are a must, and a more social Forum setup is planned using a different Management System, so as things change bear with us, and when the new site goes live (Beta) I will post it up give a few of you a chance to get joined and test it out for me.

So bare with us as I try and shake things up a bit, it will take a while, but hell, why not!  If it all goes to plan I must just buy that Subaru Impreza RB320 I have been promising myself!

New NIC Stickers available early June 2008!

A new NIC Sticker will be released in the first week of June 2008, available exclusively from the site to NIC Members.

The sticker itself is as the above logo and measures about 1 inch high and about 6 inches wide, making it subtle enough for any motor!  It is made of high grade vinyl, and will probably last longer than the bodywork of your car!  It will initially be available in white.  Should the demand be there more colours will be available.

The stickers will be sold in pairs and will cost £3.50 for a set including delivery to the UK, delivery to the ROI will bump the price up to £4.00.  (Other countries on request.)

The funds generated from this will simply cover costs of the stickers and help will funding the site and keeping her online, which is getting quite expensive!
